Czech University of Life Sciences Prague

The Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU) is a major public research and educational institution focused on life sciences, agriculture, sustainable development, environmental sciences, management and engineering disciplines. Founded with agricultural education roots dating back to 1906, CZU has six faculties and one institute offering Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD programmes with a growing international component. The university hosts over 20 000 students, with numerous programmes taught in English, and emphasizes sustainability, biodiversity conservation, natural resource management, and innovative research. CZU’s campus in Prague‑Suchdol includes advanced laboratories, experimental farms, forests, a botanical garden and facilities for practical education in agriculture, forestry and environmental sciences.
