About the university

Established in 1975, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek is a leading public university in eastern Croatia. It features 11 faculties, an academy of arts, and a department of mathematics. Particularly strong in food technology, agriculture, economics, law, and electrical engineering, it is the academic center of the Slavonia region.
