Comrat State University (KDU) is the main higher education institution of the Gagauzia autonomous region in southern Moldova, founded in 1993. Offers programs in Law, Economics, Agriculture and Ecology, Gagauz Language and Literature, History, and Informatics. Unique institution offering programs in the Gagauz language, serving the Gagauz minority. Funded jointly by the Moldovan government and Gagauzia Autonomous Region.
