Ramon Llull University (Universitat Ramon Llull, URL) is a private university based in Barcelona, Spain. Founded in 1990, it is a federated institution that brings together several prestigious schools including ESADE Business & Law School, IQS (Institut Químic de Sarrià), La Salle Campus Barcelona, Blanquerna, and others. URL offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs in business, economics, law, engineering, ICT, architecture, chemistry, health sciences, education, communication and social sciences. With about 22,500 students, around 27–28% international, it is considered one of Spain’s best private universities and ranks among the top 1,000 universities worldwide, second-best private university in Spain (THE and QS), and the best young private university in Spain. Teaching is mainly in Spanish and Catalan, with many programs in English.
