About the university

In 2025–2026, Fu Jen Catholic University is one of the largest private universities in Taiwan, with over 25,000 students and a strong international network of more than 300 partner institutions. Founded in 1925 and re-established in Taiwan in 1961, it is the only Catholic university in Taiwan directly affiliated with the Holy See. The university offers programs across 11+ colleges, including medicine, business, communication, and humanities. In 2026, Fu Jen continues to strengthen its global partnerships and interdisciplinary education, combining Chinese cultural traditions with Western academic values and emphasizing holistic student development.
