National University of Villa Mercedes

The National University of Villa Mercedes (Universidad Nacional de Villa Mercedes, UNViMe) is a public university located in Villa Mercedes, San Luis, Argentina, with additional centers in Justo Daract and the city of San Luis. Created in 2009, it focuses on training professionals in health sciences, engineering, agrifood, environmental management and social sciences to support regional development. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in medicine, nursing, kinesiology, bioengineering, computer engineering, environmental management, agrifood technology, marketing, logistics and sports management, among others. Its campuses include classrooms, laboratories, clinics, experimental fields and sports facilities and many programs promote territorial projects and collaboration with local industries and public institutions.
