About the university
Coventry University is a public modern university in the city of Coventry in England’s West Midlands, whose roots date back to Coventry School of Design in 1843; it became Coventry University in 1992. It offers around 300 undergraduate and postgraduate courses across four main faculties (arts and humanities, business and law, engineering, environment and computing, health and life sciences) and has a strong applied, career‑focused profile with many courses including placements and industry links. The Coventry University Group also operates campuses in Coventry, Scarborough, London and Wrocław, as well as partnerships and hubs in Egypt, Morocco, China, India, Dubai, Brussels, Africa and Singapore. The university teaches about 29,500 students, almost half of whom are international, and has recently achieved its highest QS world ranking.
