About the university
Janáček Academy of Performing Arts (JAMU) is a public arts university in Brno, Czech Republic, founded in 1947 and named after composer Leoš Janáček. It specializes in music, theatre, and multimedia arts and consists of two faculties: the Faculty of Music and the Faculty of Theatre. The university offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programmes focused on artistic practice, performance, and creative production.
