The Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University (UPSC) is Moldova's main pedagogical and teacher-training institution, founded in 1940. Incorporates the former Tiraspol University. Faculties include Pedagogy and Psychology, Sciences (Mathematics, Informatics, Physics), Arts and Social Humanities, Foreign Languages, Physical Education, and Preschool and Primary Education. Trains the majority of Moldova's school teachers.
