Universidad de las Américas Puebla (UDLAP)

Universidad de las Américas Puebla (UDLAP) is a private university founded in 1940 as Mexico City College; it became University of the Americas and moved to Cholula, Puebla, in 1966. The campus is in San Andrés Cholula. UDLAP offers undergraduate and graduate programs in engineering, sciences, health, social sciences, arts, humanities, and business. It has SACSCOC Level 6 accreditation and is one of few Latin American universities with that recognition. It ranks among the top three private universities in Mexico (QS Latin America) and has a five-star QS Stars rating. Teaching is mainly in Spanish, with a strong international focus and a high share of international students and faculty.
