Campus life

UANL has six campuses in Nuevo León; the main one is Ciudad Universitaria in San Nicolás de los Garza. The Centro de Desarrollo Integral del Estudiante (CDIE) runs sports clubs (hiking, flag football, cycling, bowling, futsal, padel, running). UANL leads Mexican university sports (e.g. Tigres American football, ANUIES championships). There are no central dorms; students rent in San Nicolás and Monterrey. Unibolsa (online job bank) and faculty job boards link students and graduates with employers. The Feria Laboral (with the state labour ministry) and Expo Laboral FACPYA bring 100+ companies and thousands of vacancies. Fundación UANL runs employability workshops.

Internships: Unibolsa is the institutional job bank for students and graduates; each faculty has its own board. The Feria Laboral UANL (with Secretaría del Trabajo de Nuevo León) brings 100+ companies and 1,000+ vacancies (2025); the 2024 edition had 100 companies and 1,200 vacancies. Expo Laboral FACPYA 2025 had 43 companies (Femsa, banks, Gruma, La Moderna). Employers include KIA México (35% of its workforce are UANL graduates), Femsa, Gruma, Arca Continental, Grupo Bachoco, El Palacio de Hierro, and many industrial and services firms. Fundación UANL runs employability workshops (CV, interviews, LinkedIn, etc.). Internships and social service depend on the program.

Fundación UANL and the institution fund the program.
