Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM)

The Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM) is a private Catholic university founded in 1969 in San Pedro Garza García, in the Monterrey metropolitan area. It was established by five religious congregations and a group of businesspeople. UDEM offers secondary education (preparatoria), 48 undergraduate programmes, and graduate programmes in arts, architecture, design, health sciences, law, social sciences, education, humanities, engineering, and business. It has a strong reputation with employers (QS) and a high share of faculty with doctorates. Teaching is in Spanish. The Centro de Desarrollo Profesional y Vinculación Laboral runs the job board, recruitment fairs (Network UDEM), and internships. About 22,000 students across all levels.
