National University of Villa María

The National University of Villa María (Universidad Nacional de Villa María, UNVM) is a public university located in Villa María, Córdoba, with additional academic centers in Villa del Rosario, San Francisco and Córdoba city. Created in the mid‑1990s, it offers undergraduate and graduate programs in social sciences and humanities, health sciences, engineering and agricultural sciences, economic sciences and arts and design. The institution focuses on regional development, inclusion and links with local productive and social sectors, combining classroom teaching with extension projects in surrounding communities. Its campuses provide classrooms, laboratories, experimental fields, studios, libraries and sports facilities, and several programs are also available in blended and distance formats.
