Tomas Bata University in Zlín

Tomas Bata University in Zlín (TBU) is a public higher education institution in Zlín, Czech Republic, named after entrepreneur Tomáš Baťa. Founded in 2001, it comprises six faculties offering over 190 accredited degree programmes in technology, economics, applied informatics, humanities, multimedia communications, and logistics and crisis management. The university educates around 9,000 students, including an international student body, with programmes taught in both Czech and English. TBU emphasizes international cooperation, research, and practical education, using the ECTS system and providing Diploma Supplements for graduates. It is a member of the European University Association and other international networks.
