Campus life

UdeG has 15 centers across Jalisco and a virtual system; there is no single main campus. Cultura UdeG runs theater (Teatro Experimental de Jalisco), MUSA museum, Ballet Folklórico, and Papirolas. The Plataforma Deportiva Universitaria (PDU) offers many sports and events such as Soy Corazón de León and Rugido UDG. There are no central dorms; students rent privately. The university organizes civic, cultural, and sports activities throughout the year. Each center has its own facilities and student life; Guadalajara hosts the rectorate and major cultural and sports venues.
