Tsinghua University (清华大学), founded in 1911 in Beijing, is one of China’s top research universities. The campus is in Haidian, on the site of former Qing imperial gardens. It has 20 schools and 59 departments covering science, engineering, humanities, law, medicine, economics, management, and art.
