Zhejiang University, founded in 1897 as Qiushi Academy, is a major research university in Hangzhou under the Ministry of Education. Member of C9 League, Project 985, Double First-Class; seven campuses (Zijingang main, Yuquan, Xixi, Huajiachi, Zhijiang, Zhoushan, Haining International). About 40 colleges/schools, 111 undergraduate programmes; 70,000+ full-time students, 6,360+ international.
