About the university
The Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACH) is a public university based in Chihuahua City with campuses and extension centers across the state. Founded in 1954 and granted autonomy in 1968, it offers undergraduate and graduate programs in engineering, health sciences, veterinary medicine, law, social sciences, business, agriculture, arts and humanities. The university plays a central role in the economic and social development of Chihuahua through research, technological innovation and collaboration with government and industry.
