Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ)

The Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez (UACJ) is a public university located in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, on the Mexico–United States border. Founded in 1973, it offers upper secondary, undergraduate and graduate programs in engineering, health sciences, social sciences, humanities, business, arts and architecture, distributed across several institutes and campuses in the city. The university plays an important role in the economic and social development of the border region and maintains strong links with local industry, government and community organizations. UACJ provides modern classrooms, laboratories, clinics, libraries, cultural spaces and sports facilities and promotes research, binational collaboration and student mobility.
