Universidad Juárez del Estado de Durango (UJED)

Juárez University of the State of Durango (UJED) is a public university located in the city of Durango, with campuses and schools in other municipalities of the state. Founded in 1856, it offers undergraduate and graduate programs in health sciences, engineering, natural sciences, social sciences, law, education, arts and humanities. The university plays a key role in regional development through teaching, research and cultural activities, especially in areas related to medicine, environmental science and mining.
