Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero (UAGro)

Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero (UAGro) is a public university founded in 1960 in Chilpancingo de los Bravo, Guerrero, Mexico. The main address is Avenida Javier Méndez Aponte 1, Colonia Servidor Agrario. UAGro has campuses in several regions: Acapulco, Centro, Costa Chica, Costa Grande, Montaña, Norte, Tierra Caliente, and Sierra. It offers high school, technical programs (e.g. nursing), over 70 bachelor’s and graduate programs in exact and natural sciences, education, humanities, social and administrative sciences, biotechnology and agropecuarian sciences, engineering, technology, and health sciences. Programs are offered in face-to-face, virtual, and mixed modes. It is recognized by Mexico’s Secretariat of Public Education. Teaching is mainly in Spanish.
