Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit (UAN)

The Autonomous University of Nayarit is a public higher education institution located in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico, on the Amado Nervo “City of Culture” campus. Founded in 1969, it serves tens of thousands of students in undergraduate and postgraduate programs across areas such as social sciences, humanities, agriculture, fisheries, engineering, health sciences, business and law. The university plays a key role in regional development through research, cultural activities and extension projects that connect students with local communities and the economy. It offers academic support services, libraries, laboratories, cultural and sports facilities and promotes environmental and social responsibility.
