Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT)

The Autonomous University of Tamaulipas (UAT) is a public state university headquartered in Ciudad Victoria, with additional campuses and academic units in cities such as Tampico, Reynosa and Matamoros. Founded in 1950, it offers undergraduate and graduate programs in engineering, health sciences, social sciences, economics and business, law, education, agriculture and environmental studies. The university focuses on regional development along the Gulf of Mexico, promoting applied research, innovation and community engagement.
