Universidad Autónoma de Tlaxcala (UATx)

The Autonomous University of Tlaxcala (UATx) is a public university located in Tlaxcala City, with additional campuses in Apizaco, Calpulalpan and Ixtacuixtla. Founded in 1976, it offers undergraduate and graduate programs in law, social sciences, education, engineering, health sciences, agriculture, arts and humanities. The university focuses on regional development, teacher training and social responsibility, and collaborates with state and municipal governments and local industries. Students have access to classrooms, laboratories, libraries, cultural spaces and sports facilities and can participate in research, cultural activities and community projects.
