UAEH has multiple campuses in Hidalgo. The main campus and Ciudad del Conocimiento are in the Pachuca area. The university runs the Club Universitario Real del Monte with tennis, frontenis, gym, pool, and multipurpose facilities. The Direction of Sports Promotion organizes leagues (soccer, basketball, volleyball), varsity teams, and initiation schools (martial arts, yoga, etc.). Cultural activities include the university symphony orchestra, theatre, dance, book fair (FUL), and Festival Internacional de la Imagen.
