Universidad de Málaga

The University of Malaga (Universidad de Málaga, UMA) is a public university located in Malaga, Andalusia, Spain. Established around 1972–1975, it has grown to become a major higher education institution in southern Spain. UMA offers 60+ bachelor’s degrees and multiple double degrees, as well as numerous master’s and doctoral programs across engineering, sciences, health sciences, social sciences, humanities, education, economics and business, and fine arts. The main campuses include Teatinos (science, engineering, health, economics) and El Ejido (architecture and fine arts). UMA has an active research profile and ranks in the top 3–4% of universities worldwide according to CWUR. Teaching is primarily in Spanish, with some international and bilingual initiatives.
