About the university

Universidad Veracruzana is a large public university based in Xalapa with regional campuses in Veracruz-Boca del Río, Orizaba-Córdoba, Poza Rica-Tuxpan and Coatzacoalcos-Minatitlán. Founded in 1944, it offers undergraduate and graduate programs in health sciences, engineering, natural and agricultural sciences, arts, humanities, social sciences, business and education. Internships: Universidad Veracruzana collaborates with hospitals, schools, environmental agencies, cultural institutions, agricultural and industrial companies and government bodies throughout Veracruz. Many degree programs require professional practice or social service, giving students supervised experience in health, engineering, education, business, law and environmental management.
